8V Series Cast Iron Six-Groove QD Sheaves for “8V” Belts
8V Series Six Slot QD (Quick Release) Bushing Pulleys are manufactured specifically for 8V Belts and 8V Ribbon Belts. They range in diameter from 12.50″ to 53.00″. Depending on pulley size, they can use F, J, M, or N QD bushings, which we also stock. Most of our six groove 8V QD pulleys are constructed of high strength grade 35 cast iron, phosphates, and painted for corrosion protection, and all pulleys are factory balanced to ensure the smooth running of the machinery.

Product Example
This 68V1250F pulley uses F bushings, is directly interchangeable with other manufacturers, is 12.50″ in diameter, and is built to ARPM standards for safe operation. For 3V series QD pulleys, you can use standard 8V belts or stripped 8V belts. This 68V1250F pulley differs from other pulleys in that it is constructed using high-strength cast iron that is phosphate coated, painted, and balanced at the factory. Using our high-strength cast iron grade provides higher tensile strength and More wear-resistant than more commonly used grades. A phosphate-coated and then-painted finish adds to the corrosion resistance of the 68V1250F pulley. Then, because the pulley is factory balanced, it runs smoother, allowing bearing and equipment Other parts to last longer. Using a QD (Quick Detachable) bushed pulley is beneficial because it makes the finished part a two-piece assembly, meaning you don’t have to replace the whole assembly if only one piece breaks.
